Silly Uncle Ben and Devanie pose on the rock just out side one of the town homes in Moab

The Stephenson kids and spouses and grand kids! Also just out side the town home we stayed at in Moab, we had so much fun, I didn't get any other pictures! LOL

My first climbing experience, Kelli is explaining to me how to properly tie a knot and about climbing safety.

Time to put on the most uncomfortable shoes ever, they force your toes together and bow them so that you can easily wedge your toes into teeny tiny ledges on the rock. They my be crazy uncomfortable, but they DO work!

Now that I know where my chalk bag is, I'm ready to start!

Did I mention that it was 102 degrees that day? Oh and that meant that the rock was at a boiling temperature?

It took some time but I started to get the hang of it, I found a way to hoist myself up and get to the first anchor.

This is where I realize that I have blisters on my hands from the heat of the rock, we decided it might be a better idea to try this another day. :(

But I still look good in a harness and will do it again soon! :D
That's our rental car behind me.
4th of July shooting trip with the Stephenson side!

Isn't that a beautiful sight?

And isn't THAT a beautiful sight? ; ) That's my handsome man!

More ammo loading

Oh yea, we're going to show that Huggies box who's boss

There were TONS of grasshoppers, it was almost like the ground was moving every time you took a step, grasshoppers hopped away in every direction.

Here I am shooting the 9mm- in this first picture I forgot to put my ear plugs on, first shot of the day.

Ben was taking these pictures of me, he got the bullet in the air on this shot, you can see me squinting, it bounced off me and fell to the ground, that was entertaining

then the camera ran out of batteries before I could get any pictures of Dan and I shooting the 12 gauge or anyone shooting Ben's new gun! Next time, I'll make sure my camera is charged!
That's it from now, stay tuned for another update when we get back from Bear Lake this weekend! Woo hoo!
